BERNARDSVILLE CENTRE DELIVERING NEWLY CONSTRUCTED RETAIL SPACE THROUGH SILBERT REALTY EFFORTS
Brian Silbert, President & CEO has announced that his firm has achieved approximately 94% leased including preleasing of the 17,000 SF expansion to the existing King’s Supermarket anchored shopping center. With only 4,300 square feet of brand new ground level retail remaining for lease on behalf of the longtime owner – Silbert client Bernardsville Centre, new national tenant leases include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Sherwin Williams, Cycle Bar and Kessler Institute plus several highly regarded complimentary regional retailers, thereby combining for an outstanding retail mix.
Among the most significant to the leasing efforts of Silbert is a long term lease extension with well known, quality supermarket anchor King’s, which has a proposed interior renovation planned. In addition to the expansion, landlord Bernardsville Centre, LLC is undertaking a 2018 exterior renovation of the existing shopping center that includes a new façade and parking lot areas to allow for an enhanced shopping and dining experience for both residents and corporate business of Bernardsville and surrounding municipalities. According to Brenda Curnin, managing member for the landlord, new businesses are projected to open later this year as individual retailers complete their leasehold improvements and we are truly fortunate that Silbert was on our team providing its experience and overall retail knowledge with the success of our expansion leasing and national inline retailers.
